Join our Home Care Team, part of the Somerset Care Group, in our ECH Pearson House. Being a driver is not essential to this role. ECH schemes are complexes of self-contained accommodation which enable tenants to live independently, but with the security and peace of mind that there staff available 24hrs a day in the event they are needed.

Although no experience is required for this role, you will need to ensure you have: 

• Right to work in the UK (unfortunately we are not able to offer sponsorship). 
• Available to work 7-2 and/or 4-10 across Monday to Sunday on a two-week rolling rota 
• Available to work alternate weekends.

A Care and Support Worker is our most essential role and involves:

• Supporting our customers by accompanying them to appointments, shopping, preparing meals and helping with daily living routines including washing, dressing and personal care.
• Providing companionship and making someone’s day that little bit easier.
• Understanding the care plan in place to support the customers we look after.
• Keeping clear and accurate records of the care and support provided at each visit.
• Ensuring our customers have eaten and are drinking enough to remain as healthy as possible.
• Working with the team around you to raise any concerns you have regarding our customers.
• Light domestic duties
• Manual Handling – For anyone that may be less mobile.
